Now Faith Is the Substance

What Are You Standing On?

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for. According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Substance” is ‘hypostasis’ (G5287) which means, “A setting or placing under, thing put under, substructure, foundation, that which has foundation, firm.” Stand on the Word of God. Choose to build your faith on the principles and precepts of the Word of God. Build your life on God’s Character. Build every aspect of your life on His Word.

Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬ declares, “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” Faith is the reality of what we hope for. The enemy likes to attack the substructure of your faith. Satan likes to attack your foundation. The enemy likes to attack what you’re standing on. What are you standing on? Choose to stand on the Word of God. Choose to build your life around God’s Word day and night.

What has God declared over your life? Choose to hold fast to what God has spoken. Choose to declare what God declares over your life, business, family, marriage and ministry. Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ declares, “NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].”

You may be waiting on a promise to come to pass. You might be waiting to see the manifestation of a promise that was declared to you years ago. Although you have not seen the manifestation of your promise just yet, choose to believe and continue to stand on His Word day and night. Choose to have confidence in His Word.

Your faith is the title deed and confirmation receipt of what you’re hoping for. Choose to seek Him. Surrender to Christ and hold on to His Promises. His Promise is His Word. Secure your foundation. Choose to hold on to His Word.
