For Sin Shall Not Have Dominion Over You

“For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭6:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When you are in Christ, sin does not have to rule over you. When you are in Christ, sin does not have to overtake you. When Christ is your Lord, He gives you the power to overthrow the enemy in every area of your life. When Christ lives in you, sin has to bow. When your heart is submitted to Christ, sin must flee. When you surrender to Christ, the bondage of the past does not have authority over you. When you are in Christ, you are a new creature, and your heart does not have to be entangled by the bondage of sin.

When you are in Christ, the grip of sin no longer has authority over your heart. When you are in Christ, your language changes. When you’re in Christ, you do not have to obey or be ruled by the seduction of sin. Choose to obey God. Choose to follow His Command. When you repent and turn to Christ, He becomes your Lord and the lord of sin does not have to rule your members any longer. When you’re in Christ, your old man dies. When you surrender to Christ, your old heart must bow to the Word of God.

When you were in the world, you had no choice but to surrender to the power of the enemy. When you surrender to the world’s way of doing things, sin was your master and ruled your actions. Now, when you are in Christ, you have been set free from the power of sin and its chokehold. When you are in Christ, He becomes your Strong Tower. You can run to Him and He will deliver you from every snare and trap of the enemy.

When you are in Christ, sin does not have to have dominion over you. When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord, the law of sin must flee from your bloodline. There is power in Christ. There is power in submission. Choose to submit to God. Choose to submit to His Word. Let His Word lead and direct your path. For God has given you the power and authority to rule over, and to conquer sin. Choose to tread upon Satan’s head and conquer the enemy in every area of your life.
