Put On Kindness.
“Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;” Colossians 3:12 KJV
Colossians 3:12 AMPC declares, “Clothe yourselves therefore, as God's own chosen ones (His own picked representatives), [who are] purified and holy and well-beloved [by God Himself, by putting on behavior marked by] tenderhearted pity and mercy, kind feeling, a lowly opinion of yourselves, gentle ways, [and] patience [which is tireless and long-suffering, and has the power to endure whatever comes, with good temper].” Let God clothe every aspect of your heart. Let his loving-kindness fill your lips. Let His kindness and gentleness flow from your actions. Let your character reflect His Word. When you are in Christ, you become His reflection in the Earth. Your actions, behavior, and temperance is a reflection of Christ. Choose to be patient. Choose to control your temper. Choose not to respond recklessly. Let Christ regulate and cultivate your thoughts, actions, and reactions.
“Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.” Colossians 3:12 NLT. Handle others with kindness. Handle your co-workers, colleagues, family members and friends with care and gentleness. Choose to exhibit patience. When you are a representative of Christ, your response ministers to others. Your language ministers to others. Your posture ministers to others. Let Christ rule and regulate your thoughts and actions. Let His Word penetrate every aspect of your life, both in private and in public.
