Read – Ephesians 1
Ephesians 1:17 - 19 "I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, would give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation so you may know Him better. I pray that the perception of your mind may be enlightened so you may know the hope of His calling, what are the glorious riches of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of His power to us who believe, according to the working of His vast strength."
When you pray for other Christians, what do you pray for? Do you pray for health, or easing of suffering? Shouldn't we be praying as Paul prays here for other believers that God would open their minds and hearts to Him so that their relationship with Him would grow and so that they would know His power? Think about it. How many times have you prayed this prayer for one of your brothers or sisters in Christ? Consider it today. Lift one person up to God today praying for wisdom and revelation in Christ, the enlightening of their mind so that they will know the hope of God's calling, and that God would reveal to them the riches of His inheritance and the greatness of His power and strength.
