AD 65 Paul writes to Philemon in Colossae to beg his mercy on behalf of Onesimus, his escaped slave, whom Paul is sending back. Paul, after his release from Rome in AD 65, travels with Timothy to Ephesus. After some months Paul goes on to Macedonia and continues giving pastoral advice to Timothy by letter.
