Help Others Get Connected, Part 3Sample

Who Can Teach Others Also! Are you looking toward your third generation? Those would be your spiritual grandchildren. They are the people who will be discipled by those you are discipling now.
Paul told Timothy to look for those who could also teach others. You and I need to do the same. We need to make sure that we communicate that we intend for those who learn from us to teach others what they learn.
We need to be careful that we not creating spiritual dead seas but rivers of living water. If all we do is take in spiritual training and never give it away, we become like the dead sea. Nothing lives there inside of it. If we want to have a vibrant spiritual life, we have to be pouring out into others as well as receiving spiritual nourishment ourselves.
So, make sure you are teaching students who will also be able to teach others. Challenge your new friends to start thinking today about who they will begin pouring into next semester! Keep the river flowing!

About this Plan

Last year we released 21 Days To Connect: Anchoring Your College Life. This year, we want to help you help others connect with this series of devotions. It’s designed to encourage you to invest the first 21 days of the semester to helping others find the purpose and joy in Jesus that you have found, along with the connection to a solid community of other believers.
