God in His mercy has given us direction and guidance through His Word. We, who are considered simple as compared to God, when we digest the Word of God are given the knowledge and understanding of God’s nature and God’s ways. It is an honor and a privilege that many take for granted. God desires for us to know and connect with Him. In His great mercy, He left His Word so that we can read, witness, and experience His great love for us. What is your level of gratitude concerning the access and availability of the Bible? Is that gratitude reflected in your daily intake of God’s gift of His Word? Father God, I thank You for the gift of Your Word. Your desire for intimate connection with me humbles and overwhelms me. Never let me take the gift of Your Word or the knowledge of Your Ways for granted. Lord, help me to walk faithfully and honorably in all You have given me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
