The world we live in is broken with pain and suffering, and there are some things that will never be right until Jesus comes back. James challenges us to wait patiently in this suffering. Remember how James starts his book? He challenges us to take joy in our suffering because that is how we grow our endurance. We are challenged here to wait patiently for Jesus’ return, to love each other and not to grumble or become discontent in our waiting.
