Look at the qualities listed in this verse. Love, a pure heart, a good conscience, a sincere faith—those don’t seem like the easiest things to have, do they? Maybe we all want to be people who easily love others, or have good hearts, or make wise choices, or have a deep faith in God. But actually doing those things? Much harder! The good news is that we don’t have to do it alone. It’s only in Jesus that we can follow God’s command to love. It’s only with His help that we can become the people He calls us to be. This week, pick just one of the qualities this verse lists, and ask God to help develop that in you.
