As you reflect on this, pray in these ways and any other way the Holy Spirit leads.
- For those who are still worshipping evil rulers to see the absurdity and futility of their efforts.
- For those who feel frustrated and hopeless because of their repeated failures to break away from the grip of sinful habits or addictions and to realize that they can take refuge in Jesus Christ, who rules.
- For our joy and hope in the ultimate and almighty ruler God.
- For our commitment to Jesus Christ as the only ruler of our hearts, thoughts, and actions, and for our lives to reflect this commitment.
