Love God Greatly - 1 & 2 PeterSample

Jesus’ response to suffering was to remain patient, quiet, and focused on God’s future plan and will for Him. Jesus did not defend Himself. He allowed His Heavenly Father to come to His defense. Jesus committed Himself to God’s plan regardless of what that would mean for Him. He committed to die a brutal death for our sins, for our righteousness, for our right-standing and connection with God. Jesus is our Shepherd and Overseer if we receive Him as our Savior.
When you suffer unjustly, what examples from Jesus’ suffering can you implement and follow? When you find yourself in troubling circumstances, can you trust His plans and will for your life?
