Debt Is a Problem 

In our world, millions of college students are impacted by student loans each year. Debt is killing dreams and delaying destinies in the lives of millions of young people! You might be reading this before you go to college, you might be in school right now, you might even be in a spot where you’ve piled up a huge stack of bills and debt and wonder if it’s too late to do anything about it. 

Wherever you find yourself  financially while you read this, I want you to know that God has a plan for you to walk in financial peace along your journey towards great dreams and destiny. The quickest way to delay those God-given dreams in your life is to have debt and the fastest way to financial freedom is to avoid debt.  

I was able to graduate from college DEBT FREE. It changed my life and set my wife and I up for success on our journey following Jesus! I'm calling to you from the Promised Land—it’s completely possible for you to live your dreams and achieve your financial goals as well. In fact, I know two things: it’s hard work, and this is God’s plan for your life! 

I see so many young people with a desire to chase their dreams, and the most common thing that holds them back is student loan debt. So many times as a pastor and speaker, I talk to students and twenty something’s who say “I wish I would have known this information before I started college.”

The Bible is clear that 100 times out of 100, less debt is better than more debt! We as humans have a propensity towards borrowing and owing, financially and spiritually. 

Jesus paid our debt. The worst debt—the one we could not repay for ourselves. Jesus solved the problem of our spiritual debt once and for all on the cross. It’s also his plan to provide for you and for you be freed from the chains of monetary debt. 

God is our source, and our provider for all of the days of our lives! Remember, He taught us to pray for daily bread. 

It’s my hope that while reading this short 7-day plan is that you will take on less debt, walk closer with Jesus, and be uplifted with hope along the way! I want you to look back on your life and REJOICE, and not look back with REGRET! God, I pray for each friend reading this, that they would become YOUNG & DEBTLESS! 

Prayer:

God, today I recognize that my help comes from you! You are my source. Would you give me dreams of how I can serve others? And would you guide me in the area of finances? Please allow me to avoid debt and chase every dream you place in my heart. Thank you for paying my debt through your son Jesus' blood on the cross!
