HOPE IN THE LORD

Strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. Hebrews 12:12

In this life we will experience many afflictions, but the Lord will deliver us from them all. The question I need to ask you today is: In whom do you trust in times of trials and tribulations? Some of you are bowed down by financial troubles. You say, “I’m in debt. I owe so much money. I started my business in faith and it’s not working out.” 

Dedicate it all to the Lord today and He will turn your life around. “I’ve just been diagnosed with cancer.” Call on Jesus, the Healer, and say, “Lord, I have a problem that no man can solve. Only You can help me. 

Job said, “Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him” Job 13:15. 

“I know that my redeemer lives” Job 19:25. Because Jesus lives, we can face tomorrow. It doesn’t matter what disaster we have to go through; it doesn’t matter what trials and tribulation we have to suffer, we have to put our hope in the Lord and serve Him. As one early believer said, “Even though you kill me, you will never tear the living Christ out of my heart.” 

Hebrew 12:1-2 says we have a great cloud of witnesses around us. They cheer us on as we run the race of our lives. They persevered, and they will inspire us to finish our race by fixing our eyes on Jesus Christ, the one who strengthens our feeble arms and weak knees so that we will not grow weary and lose heart. 

Lord Jesus, I place my hope in You today. I will serve You, whatever I must endure here on earth. Because You live, I can face tomorrow. Amen
