From Beginning to EndSample

Hadn’t these people seen the disasters in Egypt and the entire army destroyed in the Red Sea? Hadn’t these people been provided with food and water throughout their journey? Why couldn’t they see God was going to continue to give them victory and protection? The result is that they must wait longer for what God is going to provide and lose their opportunity to enjoy it.
Philippians 4:6 tells us not to worry about anything, but to ask God for what we need. Unfortunately people don’t always do that very well. We forget the things God has done for us in the past and only look at the things in front of us that have us worried. How much enjoyment of God’s provision has been missed due to lack of trusting God?

About this Plan

This is part one of a four-part plan to read the books of the Bible that tell of the historical events. Although the Bible contains many stories, it is one story from beginning to end of God’s interactions with humanity. One day per week can be used to catch up on missed readings or for reflection. Notes are also included to assist with understanding.
