1Q: Following Jesus for RealSample
We don’t always give Jesus the credit He deserves for living the sinless life He lived. The Bible says that He was tempted in every way we are tempted, but never gave in. That means He got tired, hungry, frustrated, etc. but never stopped thinking and behaving the way God expected Him to think and behave.
What Jesus expects from us may sound like a tall order, but it’s no more than what He accomplished. Yes, He is God, but those of us who have put our faith in Him for salvation have the Holy Spirit (also God) inside us, empowering us to do the seemingly impossible.
Don’t let physical, emotional, social, etc. factors affect your obedience or lessen your commitment to Christ. See it through to the end like Jesus did.
Thank God for the Holy Spirit’s help as you continue to live by faith in obedience.
