Read To Hear: DeuteronomySample

“Therefore, you shall keep His statutes and His commands which I command you this day, so that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and so that you may prolong your days in the land, which the Lord your God gives you, forever” (Deuteronomy 4:40, MEV)
As a leader, although he did not cross together with the people of Israel, Moses still fulfilled his responsibility. He made sure that the generation entering the promise land would know their own history and he prepared them for the future. One of the things Moses did was to repeatedly remind the people of Israel to do what was commanded to them as a form of their obedience, not for his own gain but for their future.
