Our Victory
Jesus died on the cross for us. He freed us from sin and won over death. But, if He has truly won, why are we still struggling and fearful when troubles come?
God’s Word works through our faith—our trust in God. If God has redeemed us, we need to truly believe it and live according to this truth. God has won, His victory has been given to us. We don’t earn it by our own strength. His victory works in us when we accept it as our own victory. And we are not alone, because God has also given us the Holy Spirit, who will guide, strengthen, and equip us in this world so we can fulfill His plans for our lives.
God has overcome the world once and for all. This means that we also have overcome the world forever. So, let us glorify God with our whole lives!

About this Plan
We often let our own experiences and feelings take up too much space in our minds. We worry about what our friends think of us, or the “likes” and “followers” we get on social media that we continuously compare to others’, the things that we feel insecure about, and the list just keeps on going. When we let our fears take over our thoughts and rely on our own strengths, it’s easy for us to be skeptical and lose sight of what is truly important in this life. Through this devotion, let’s learn to focus on God, the Unchanging One. The One who holds our lives, the One we can always depend on. Our perspectives and the way we live will be transformed when our eyes are fixed on Him.
