I desperately want my sons to walk in purity but I know that there is a battle raging against that quest. No matter how hard they may try to stay pure, desire to do the right things and think the right thoughts, the forces of evil would love nothing more than to see them fall.
To desire and insist that our children just follow rules while there is ugliness within breeds a Pharisee. Let’s pray that the hearts of our children would be pliable to the Holy Spirit’s tender conviction, that their minds would be set on Jesus and that their thoughts would be taken captive and made obedient to the truth of God’s Word.

●____________ demolishes arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and ____________ takes captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:5)
●I pray that ____________ will set his mind on things above, not on earthly things. (Colossians 3:2)
