When we’re walking through hard things in life, it can be difficult to find any joy. It’s so easy to stay focused on our problems and trials, especially when they seem to be never ending. In order to rejoice, we have to change our focus. We have to look for the joy in every circumstance. Because when you do, something cool begins to happen on the inside; you begin to feel true, lasting joy! The next time you face a trial, try to shift your focus and look for the joy around you. Think about one area in your life right now where you are facing a pretty big problem. Ask God to help you look for joy in the middle of it.
