Restore: Palm Sunday

Lord Jesus,

Thank you for the wild, relentless love by which you saved us.

Thank you that on this day you entered Jerusalem, not as a conquering warrior,

but as a loving servant – the King of kings on the back of a donkey.

Help us in all our thoughts, words and actions to follow you,

to walk upon those palm leaves ourselves in the way of mercy, love, and truth.

Help us every day to bring a little heaven to earth,

to be confident in your ultimate victory,

and to live in humility as we stand before your overwhelming grace.

Amen.
