Think about Joshua. Why did God trust him to be the leader of all God’s people? Joshua showed he was responsible by obeying the instructions of his leader, Moses, for years. He believed in God’s power and followed God even when everyone else was afraid. Joshua showed he could be trusted with little responsibilities, so God trusted Joshua with big responsibilities. God helped Joshua defeat Jericho in an amazing way, because he obeyed, every day!
