NT 260: Part FourSample

The fifth trumpet judgment releases what seem to be demonic forces to torture people. The torture is so severe people would prefer to be dead. The sixth trumpet involves the deaths of one third of all people.
The trumpet judgments are unimaginably terrible. Even if they are not being described literally, this is the level of terror people will experience. It is hard to imagine all of this is part of God’s plan of judgment for those who have rebelled against Him. We should not be able to read this without thinking of those we would like to see trust Jesus. God is ready to extend deliverance to all who follow Him, and the alternative is terrible!
