Would you write a book? Would you start your own business? Would you go back to school? Would you get married? We all have something we’d love to do, but often, our fear of failure outweighs the potential of our destiny. But what if you found out that failure could actually help you succeed?


Chasing Failure

Judo came into our lives through my late husband, a judoka. When our daughter Bianca, then 9 years old, was bullied and threatened with a box cutter, we decided to enroll her in judo classes. A week later, she successfully defended herself. Today, my daughter owns a judo academy and my grandson Pedro competes at the national level. This is the inspiration for this devotional.

 Smooth Path

Athletes take diligent steps to ensure they are trained and prepared for competition. As Christians, we should do the same. This devotional shares some strategies on how to do that, and gives some practical advice.

Every effective team works toward a common goal. The purpose of this Bible study and devotional is to help encourage, inspire, and build committed Christian athletes who desire to consistently follow Christ’s game plan.
