This Advent Guide comes from students, faculty, and staff at Belmont University. Advent is that season of waiting that carefully and purposefully helps us to realign our priorities and to glimpse, anew, our place before God. Our humble hope is this guide helps people focus more fully on Jesus Christ through the Advent season.

Belmont University Advent Guide

In this short Infinitum Christmas series reading plan, we make space for awe. Infinitum is a way of life centered on following Jesus by loving God and loving others through an emphasis on the habits and disciplines of surrender, generosity, and mission. We aim to see the Bible and also the world through these Jesus-colored lenses.

Advent - We Have Found The King

St. Francis once prayed all night, “God, who are you and who am I?” In many ways the Incarnation is God’s answer to that question and the focus of these reflections. The Incarnation is love with skin on it. It is God’s “yes” to a world that has long since forgotten its belovedness, its blessedness.
