Uncharted - Navigating the Unknown With a Trusted GodSýnishorn

DAY 6 - A PATH EMERGES
The Bible is a book full of miracles. Miracles are celebrated, as they should be! I think more important than the particular breakthrough for an individual or the community it impacts, is what we discover about the nature and the ways of God. Every miracle contains the DNA of a God that not only performs wonders but stirs us to think of Him or engage with Him in a way we may not have engaged with before.
One of the most awe-inspiring wonders of the Old Testament has to be where God parts the sea for the nation of Israel to walk through on dry land and then drown the Egyptians minutes later as they try to do the same. The truth is, God makes a way! In fact, John 14:6 states that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Not only does He make a way, He is the way.
This truth is revolutionary for anyone embarking on the new. You have responded by hearing God and saying yes to Him. We have no idea what God will do with your yes. We also have no idea how God will do what He said He would do. True to form, God goes before you. He has already made a way. It doesn't matter whether you know how to lead that team, communicate that message or raise that child, God knows how.
Hebrews 11:39-40 (TPT) reads like this: 'These were the true heroes, commended for their faith, yet they lived in hope without receiving the fullness of what was promised them. But now, God has invited us to live in something better than what they had - faith's fullness! This is so that they could be brought to finished perfection alongside of us.'
As you embark on this new adventure, hero of faith, let's keep on discovering the fullness that we have in Christ. As we do that, let's see what path will emerge.
Ask yourself these two questions -
* What miracle is God reminding you of today?
* What does that reveal about His nature or His ways?
Let's pray together -
Holy Spirit, thank you for being my companion in everyday life. Thank you for reminding me of who I am in Christ. Let your fullness empower me as I embark on this new adventure. I trust you to make a way. Amen.

About this Plan

Throughout history, explorers have been those who refused to accept the limits of their world. Every new age hurls us into deep uncertainty and leaves the individual with new terrain and complexities to navigate. Fortunately, we don't have to accomplish this in our own strength. Within Hebrews 11 we find people who have steered through challenging times just like we have. Discover the keys that made them successful. You, my friend, are called to be a hero of faith.
