Pastor How to Read LukeExemple

Please read the Gospel of Luke 1:21 (NLT),
21 Meanwhile, the people were waiting for Zechariah to come out of the sanctuary, wondering why he was taking so long.
The people outside were wondering why Zechariah was taking so long.
When you are in the Presence of God, it feels like a very short time.
But to the people outside, it feels like it is a long time.
That’s the clue.
When you are worshipping during In-Person Service or Online or during your personal God-time, and you feel like it's a 'long time’, that means that you are still ‘outside’.
If you press in, once inside with the Presence of God, time flies.
(Same verse but in NKJV. By the way, I always read a few versions of the Bible.)
21 And the people waited for Zacharias, and marveled that he lingered so long in the temple.
It is good to linger for a long time in the House of God.
That is why in our church, we don’t just rush in for In-Person Service and leave immediately after. We are not a cinema. We are the house of God. We love to linger after service, after Revival Nights, after Connect Group / Small Group meetings
We can’t wait for Covid to be over so we can ‘linger longer’.
