Save the DateExemple

In his letter to the Corinthians, Paul uses some strong language when he talks about sexual immorality. He says we should flee from any sexual behavior outside of the context of God’s design for it. What does that mean, exactly? Well, it means we need to get moving—flee! If we don’t, we risk hurting others and hurting ourselves.
Jesus cared about our treatment of people more than anything else, and because of that, this direction from Paul matters a lot. God is looking out for our best interests and the interests of others, and if sexual immorality has the potential to hurt both of these things, He wants us to get as far away from it as possible.
Today, think through some ways you can “flee” a situation that could be harmful to you and others. When you have an idea of how to leave a situation before you find yourself in it, you are more likely to follow through when the moment happens.
