Serving is sacrificing your time and using your abilities to make a difference. The Dream Team is our volunteer team which includes anyone who serves in any capacity for our church. Giving

We give as an expression of worship and a display of our relationship with Jesus Christ. We give as God desires, with gratitude and a cheerful heart, for He tells us in 2 Corinthians 9 that “each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give; not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

Three ways to interpret the book of Jonah:
1. Fictional
2. Allegorical
3. True
Three signs you’re running from God.
l. When you resist what God has already commanded.
God’s word doesn’t require our approval. It requires our obedience.
How do you respond when God tells you to do something difficult?
ll. When you’re moving in the opposite direction of God’s will.
hey

By Ship he goes to Tarnish

Running from God is running toward something else.
lll. When you’re asleep when the world needs you.
Where have I become spiritually asleep?
Who needs me to wake up?
What is God asking me to do that I’ve been resisting, running from, or sleeping through?”
