Are you wanting to grow in your Spiritual journey?

Would you like to get to know others better? The River Church is committed to helping others grow in their faith and developing deeper connections with others. Our small groups are a great way to do this. We have groups for all ages and stages of life. They meet at different days and times to help provide an opportunity that can fit your schedule.

Upcoming Events

August 9 - Back to School Prayer Night
Before the new school year begins, join us for our Back-to-School Prayer Night for all River Kids and River Youth families! From 6:00–7:30 pm, families will walk through interactive prayer stations together, followed by a special time of praying over our students as they prepare for the year ahead. We hope you'll join us for this meaningful evening of prayer and encouragement.

August 12 - J.O.Y. Group
Data centers… how much do you know about them? The JOY Group will be meeting Wednesday, August 12 at 1:00 pm and an education specialist at the Ohio Consumers’ Counsel will be sharing information with our group. Interested in joining us? If so, please call or text Debbie Pierson (607-793-0118) to add your name to the list.

August 15 - Clay & Sport Shooting Affinity Group
This group will meet from 1:00 - 3:00pm at the Middletown Sportsman’s Club located at 6942 Michael Rd, Middletown, OH 45042. For more information about this affinity group, contact spencer williamson at spencerwilliamson19@gmail.com.

August 16 - Pop Up Sunday!
Our River Kids are POPPING up to their new Sunday School classes on Sunday, August 16! Any 18-month old who has not yet transitioned to the Toddler Room, 3's who have not yet transitioned to Preschool, incoming Kindergarteners, and incoming 2nd-graders are being promoted to their new classes on this exciting morning!

August 16 - Trivia Night
We will be hosting a trivia night on August 16 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm to support our team of 9 who have signed up to join Faith in Action for a mission trip this October. All proceeds will go to sponsoring this trip and for the purchase of items that will be given to the people our team comes in contact with in Guatemala. Sign up table is in the cafe! Anchored -River Youth service at 9:30 (every Sunday morning)
A brand-new student-focused service designed specifically for them—featuring worship, communion, a relevant message, and small group time centered around real-life topics students face.

Fall Church Fantasy Football Leagues
Interested in joining a fun, low key church fantasy football league this season? It's a great way to connect and enjoy some friendly competition and no fantasy football experience is needed. There will be a youth group league and adult leagues. If you want to join in all you need to do is contact Eric Stone zoosee838@gmail.com or text him at 513-320-4820 and give him your name and email. Leagues fill up fast so don't wait to join.
