Giving gives us an opportunity to recognize that God is the Giver of every good and perfect Gift! It also allows us to fund the mission and vision of the church. 1. What is your favorite Christmas movie? What Christmas traditions or memories stir something meaningful in you?
2. Like George Bailey, many of us have moments where we wonder if our lives make any difference. Where in your life have you been tempted to believe the lie that your life doesn’t matter or that you’re not making an impact?
3. Romans 15:13 reminds us that God fills us with hope. What circumstances are currently challenging your sense of hope? How could trusting God reshape the way you see your circumstances?
4. Mary and Joseph’s story shows that God doesn’t wait for perfect conditions to show up. Where do you need to be reminded that Jesus (Emmanuel) is with you right now? How can you be intentional to live with awareness of this truth even in the chaos or disappointment?
5. Recognizing that hope grows when it’s given away, who in your life right now needs hope? What’s one tangible way you could bring encouragement, love, or God’s presence to them this week?
