Is God first place in your life above everything else?

Temptation is an enticement to sin, often from personal desires or external forces aiming to cause harm or failure, while testing is a trial designed to evaluate, strengthen, and mature an individual, typically for their benefit.
God tested Abraham, not to trip him up and watch him fall, but to deepen his capacity to obey God and thus to develop his character. Just as fire refines ore to extract precious metals, God refines us through difficult circumstances. When we are tested, we can complain, or we can try to see how God is stretching us to develop in us the character necessary to be his followers. - Genesis 22 LASB
Do we recognize God’s voice when He calls to us?
We can get to know His voice better by praying and being in His Word daily and taking the time to focus in and listen for His voice.
What thing or things do you put between you and God?
What are the things that you treasure the most in your life?
Do you love those people or things more than God?
Do you spend more time and money on those things or on the things of God?
God wants to know that He is first in your heart and that you put Him first before anything or anyone else and that you put Him above all else.
Many times, God will call us to go where He is calling us and most of the times, we won’t get the complete picture of what that will look like until when we get there.
God is teaching us to trust Him each step of the way, day by day, to put our trust and faith in Him to lead and guide us.

God gave Jesus to the world as a sacrifice to take our place so we could have a relationship with Him for eternity.
Jesus is the sacrificial lamb. Will we accept His gift?
