Sermon Series: Kingdom People
Sermon Title: Blessed are the peacemakers
Jesus is the Prince of Peace.

Why was there so much chaos around his life?
How can you get arrested for making Peace?
How is he a peace maker and seems that the Gospel is causing chaos even in families?
Then you see even with the Apostles in the book of acts.
Pail causes a riot in Ephesus!
The lost world does not have peace with God for their sin, the gospel message offends and causes disagreements but ultimately its goal is bring peace between God and Man through the blood of Jesus that pays for their sin.
Jesus came to make peace between God and man that started in the Garden.
We must be bold for the Gospel and try to make peace between God and man.
The Gospel can cause disruption.
You're peace with God must be your first priority before the acceptance of the world.
Peacemakers also share Gods heart for Reconciliation.
Peacemakers take initiative to reconcile especially when you're in the wrong.

Pride will keep you from reconciliation.
You can’t bring peace to the world around you if you don’t have it inside of you.
Peacemakers are not shaken when storms come. We must be able to have self control to bring peace to others when problems arise.
Walking in peace is rooted in trusting God and spending time with Jesus regularly to become more like him in every way. Being a peacemaker takes a lifetime of maturing in God.

If you're hear today and you do not have a relationship with Jesus, the Bible says you must turn away from your sins and place your faith in what Jesus did for you on the cross. If you want to surrender your life to Christ today please come down front and speak with one of our prayer team today!
