Joy

Joy

Joy is more than the feeling of happiness, and experiencing joy should be a part of every Christian’s life. But each day our joy can be confronted by feelings of anxiety, depression, even pessimism. Real and lasting joy is not defined by our feelings or circumstances but by Jesus, who brings godly contentment and gratitude. By relying on Jesus and staying in fellowship with Him, we can experience true joy regardless of our circumstances. --- The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit produces types of fruit in the Christian life that reflect God’s character. The fruit of the Spirit that is manifest in the Christian life includes love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. In this sermon series, we will learn how this fruit is produced and what it looks like to reflect the fruit of the Spirit in our daily lives.
