Most things in life, church, ministry can easily slide from Privilege...to Practice...to Problem. Stay in the mode of 'privilege'. It is a privilege to be here...to 'get' to serve. The Importance of 'Thine':
The idea of preserving our purpose is to remember 'Whose this is...Who is in charge...Who has the final say.'
There are only two foundations: sand (our way) or the Rock (God's way).

A unified, praying, holy church is the greatest threat to hell!
This is not a game. So much is at stake!! We must win!
We must not look for loopholes, but look to delve deeply into the things of God. What is your appetite about?

The Work of the Church:
The church is God's method / choice for sharing the message of hope.
This is not a business...not entertainment...not another extracurricular activity...this is THE CHURCH, an entity like no other!
For the church, Christ gave up everything! Sacrifice is in our DNA.
In Luke 24 - Jesus told disciples to go back to Jerusalem and remain until they were filled with power. In other words, the church will be operated by the leading of the Holy Spirit!!
Let us return to the powerful simplicity of the church Christ established!

* a process of self-control
* a provision for healing the body

* line of communication with God
* an avenue of our soul's resources
* means of divine provison enacted in earth - health, financial, miracle, spiritual, relational.
* follows pattern of Jesus
* pathway for protecting our eternal soul
