Without the resurrection, every prophecy about Jesus, His coming, and His deity would be false and that the God that we process isn't real.
We are afraid of death because we often think about death from a hopeless position.
Loss of life.
Loss of others.
Loss of control.
Loss of love.
Loss of time.
Loss of purpose.
Jesus faced the prospect of death to redeem humanity and put us in right standing with God.
We must face death so that we can receive the righteousness of God, Christ died for.
But thanks be to God the Father, we don't have to fear death because Death could not hold Jesus Christ!
Because He lives, we can face death with hope!
Because He lives, we don't have fear of death/losing life. We already have it; we will always have it.
Because He lives, we don't have to fear of losing love. We have access to love that never ends (eternal love).
Because He lives, we don't have to fear losing time, because time never stops.
Because He lives, we don't have to fear losing purpose because we have an eternal purpose.
The resurrection is key to our faith!
Because He lives, there's no fear in death... there's hope!
