God’s nature is to be compassionate, merciful, gracious, and patient.
God must be provoked to anger and wrath.

We are the opposite.

Our nature is to react with anger.
We must be provoked to love and good deeds. (Hebrews 10:24)
According to Exodus 34:5-7,
His love goes to a thousand generations - another way of saying forever.
His punishment goes to the third and fourth generation.

His love far outlasts His punishment.
“Truth is meant to disturb the comfortable, and to comfort the disturbed.”
Disturb the Comfortable

If you’ve grown comfortable in your sin, REPENT!
Comfort the Disturbed

God knew from the beginning how He would have to deal with sin.
The friendship of the Lord is for those who fear Him.

Perfect love casts out fear.

Yet, it’s our fear that brings us the friendship — that reveals His love.

Earthly paradoxes are Heaven’s principles.
The heart Jesus has for you
is the same heart
the Father has for you.
