Take Aways:
Dear Younger self, Don’t get social media. You will get attached and compare yourself to others in your everyday life. Love you. 17 year old female
It’s a terrible addiction that I wish I would have limited from the beginning. You miss out on so much time with friends and family when your nose is constantly in your phone. It’s just not worth it. 19 year old female
I would warn my younger self about strangers on the internet trying to contact you. 22 year old female
I have never wished I spent more time on my phone. I believe that one day I will wish I had all the time I spent looking at a screen back. Real relationships and real interactions and real experiences are the things I treasure the most. 40 year old male
You don’t get a refund on time wasted. Time is precious and valuable. Use it wisely. 40 year old female

Values to use in building a tech-wise family (from the book "Tech Wise Family", by Andy Crouch)
We use tech to build our closest relationships.
We use tech to have healthy conversations.
We use tech while remaining mindful of our physical limits.
We use tech for cultivation, not consumption.
We use tech to cherish the created world.
