Men’s Basecamp – 6 August
Join the men of Grace who are going to the Basecamp Sydney event this year. Basecamp is a 6-hr recharge for men who want to hear from God’s Word and to be refreshed. It will be a great day of tasty food, fellowship, and a chance to learn practical wisdom for living well as a Christian man from God’s Word.
When: Saturday 6th August; 9 am-3 pm
Where: UNSW Roundhouse, Kensington - It is easily accessible by public transport and we can make carpooling arrangements. Please register under “GCI Kogarah”. Contact Robin Ma at 0401273371 for any questions.
Baptism & Membership Classes
We will be offering our Baptism/Membership classes on three successive Sundays in August (14, 21 & 28). Those who are interested in considering baptism or membership should contact Pastor Nathan to express their interest (natemuse@gmail.com). This will be a great opportunity to get to know some other newer attenders and also to get to know more about the church and the meaning of baptism and membership for a Christian.
Upcoming EGM – 21 August 2022
There will be an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) held on Sunday, 21st August. Commencing at 2:30 pm at the church building (Kogarah). Church members are encouraged to attend. A proxy form is available and must be signed and returned back no later than 2:30 pm on Sunday 21/08/2022.
There are 2 agenda items:
1. A renewal of Pastor Edward Ruan’s contract from Mandarin Congregation.
2. A renewal of Pastor Carleton Suen’s contract for the Bilingual/Cantonese Congregations.

Thank God for the opportunities to report on our ministry at churches. We cherish every opportunity.
Thank God Zoe and Amelia are adapting well in Sydney. Thank God that they can make some good friends. Pray that these friendships will last into our second term.
Thank God for His healing. Sunny's knee is feeling better. He can now walk without much pain.
Pray for good health.
