Why does Gospel Community Church preach through books of the Bible?
1) It sets us up for a more comprehensive view of the Bible.
2) It creates an environment of spiritual growth through study and conversations.
3) It saves the people from the theological, social, or philosophical tendencies of the pastor or culture.
4) It is a visible act of submission to God’s Word by trusting in its sufficiency.
Luke and Acts were written between 60-62 AD.
Luke is an apologetic.
Luke is a historical account of the faithfulness of God. He has been faithful to you!
Luke is a product of investigation and divine inspiration.
Asphalion: Derived from the Greek adjective ἀσφαλής (asphales) meaning "safe, secure", as well as "steadfast, reliable, trustworthy." The word is ultimately derived from the Greek verb ἀσφαλίζω (asphalizo) meaning "to fortify, to make secure, to make safe."
In a culture filled with different sets of facts and fake news, the Gospel of Luke teaches us that we can have certainty in the substitutionary death and the victorious resurrection of Jesus Christ.
