Question:
How do I respond to discipline?
Definition:
Discipline - Learning that molds character and enforces correct behavior—from a Latin word meaning “instruction” or “training.” To discipline a person or a group means to put them in a state of good order so that they function in the way intended. Discipline, in spite of a popular misconception, is not inherently stern or harsh.

-Walter A. Elwell and Philip Wesley Comfort, Tyndale Bible Dictionary, Tyndale Reference Library (Wheaton, IL: Tyndale House Publishers, 2001), 385.

Giving at The Vineyard

We don't pass a plate for tithes and offerings here at Vineyard, but we do believe that giving back through our finances is an important way to worship Jesus.
