A Christian’s Identity and Position in Christ: As a result of the Gospel, who are you now?
1. I am a child of God. God is my loving heavenly Father. I am an heir of God.
2. I am a new creation. I have been changed from a sinner to a saint
3. I am eternally alive and well. My spirit is united with God’s. I am in Christ and He is in me
4. I am the righteousness of God
5. I am the salt of the earth and the light of the world
7. I am a temple (dwelling place) of God. His Spirit resides in me
8. I am a member of Christ’s body
9. I am a citizen of heaven, seated in heaven right now
10. I am chosen of God and dearly loved

12. I am a member of a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own chosen possession

What are some implications of who I am now?

1. I have peace with God. I have been justified, completely forgiven and made righteous
2. I have been saved from God’s wrath and freed from all fear of condemnation
3. I died with Christ and died to the power of sin ’s rule over my life
4. I have received the Holy Spirit to help me and as a pledge guaranteeing my inheritance to come
5. I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who lives but Christ lives in me
6. I have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places
7. I have been redeemed and am forgiven, and am a recipient of His lavish grace
8. I have direct access to God through His Spirit
9. I may approach God with boldness and confidence
10. I have been rescued from the domain of Satan’s rule and transferred to the kingdom of Christ
11. I have been forgiven of my sins, and the debt against me has been cancelled
12. I have Christ himself in me
13. I have been buried, raised and made alive in with Christ
14. I have been given the Spirit of power, love and self-discipline
15. I have been saved and set apart according to God’s doing
17. I have been made perfect forever

19. I have been given precious and magnificent promises by God, by which I am a partaker of God’s divine nature
20. I have been created in Christ Jesus for good works. I am His workmanship
