https://hopecharlotte.com/im-new/next-steps/We are living in an INCREASINGLY HARSH AND VENGEFUL CULTURE. We call it CANCEL CULTURE where there is no room for CHANGE, APOLOGY OR REPENTANCE.
1. Jesus came to cancel SIN, not PEOPLE
The moment we go to the cross, we are no longer defined by what we have DONE, but by what we have BECOME.
When we stand before God, He is not only judge and jury, he is also our defense lawyer who has ALREADY PAID OUR PENALTY.
Satan is the Accuser, not Jesus.
2. Jesus calls us to be RECRUITERS, not PROSECUTORS or JUDGES
- What is my personal first response when I see or hear of sinful behavior? - Do I want to reach out or write them off?
- Do I pray for them or do I runoff to tell others or post something about them?
- Do I try to help them or do I condemn them?
- Do I pray for them or do I runoff to tell others or post something about them?

3. Jesus died for His ENEMIES; all He asks is that we LOVE OUR ENEMIES
4. Forgiveness is not an EXTRA-CREDIT OPTION
5. It’s bad enough when I won’t forgive someone for what they did to ME. It’s ridiculous when I won’t forgive someone for what I think they did to SOMEONE ELSE.
CARING IS NOT BLOGGING OR POSTING SOMETHING. Caring is getting out there and engaging in activity that will help someone who is suffering. We are called to do our part with that which we can touch.
6. No one is too BROKEN to be REDEEMED.
