Sunday 10:00 AM

Today is Easter Sunday, the day we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the tomb.
The resurrection is the pinnacle of the Christian faith. No empty tomb...no eternal truth!
The tomb is the ultimate sign of God's victory and speaks of our sin, struggles, sorrows, and salvation.
As we consider Easter, I would like you to think of the tomb as God's victory sign, announcing the resurrection of Jesus to the world.
Following Jesus' verified death upon the cross, one of His followers, Joseph of Arimathea, prepared the Lord's body for burial and placed Him in the tomb.
Matthew 28:1-7
Many eye witnesses of His death and resurrection make the tomb a matter of credible, reliable history!
Three Facts Regarding the Tomb:

1. The TOMB signals God's PROVISION and PARDON for our SINS.
John 1:29
1 Timothy 2:5-6a
Hebrews 9:24-28
2. The TOMB signals God's PRESENCE and PEACE in our STRUGGLES.
Philippians 4:4-13
Hebrews 7:25
3. The TOMB signals God's POWER and PERSONAL guarantee of our SALVATION.
John 10:28-29b
Acts 4:12
Romans 1:4; 8:29-39
Jude 1:24-25
When you read the Easter story in the Bible and come to the word TOMB, what do you think of?

There are many possible ways that a person could react:

· A fairy tale, a bit of wishful thinking, or even a contrived story to create a massive lie.
· Perhaps a cold rock encasement for dead bodies?
· A place that is a bit scary, dark, and even haunted?
· Or maybe, an actual location where we can purge our memories of what was so we can stumble about in the here and now?

For me, the Easter TOMB is God’s Victory Sign
· A spot for our faith to be rooted!
· A launching pad where our hopes can soar!
· A reminder that God is God and none of the forces of this world can thwart His promises.
· A visual picture that no matter how bad things, we are more than conquerors because of what took place there.

Israel Study Tour 2022

Pastor Don will be leading a study tour May 4 -18 of 2022 in the land of Israel. The tour will include historical cities like Jerusalem, Tiberias, Nazareth, Samaria, Jericho and take in sites like the Dead Sea, Jordan River, and Sea of Galilee, the Mount of Olives and the garden of Gethsemane. There is a year's worth of preparation that is part of the discovery into the land where Jesus lived, died, and ascended into heaven. Therefore, we would like to know who might be interested in learning more about this opportunity.
