Starting a New Life
A. A new life brings...
1. A new life means death to the old life.
2. A new life is a gift from God.
3. A new life brings us into relationship with Christ.
4. A new life gives us a full and satisfying life.
5. A new life brings us eternal life with Jesus.
B. The new beginning brings…
1. A new beginning brings a new citizenship.
2. A new beginning brings a new family.
3. A new beginning brings a new purpose.
4. A new beginning brings a new power.
5. A new beginning brings a new destiny with a new pathway to follow.
C. To start that new life…
1. Admit that you are a sinner.
2. Believe that Jesus died for your sins.
3. Confess your sins to Him.
4. Decide to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
"Dear God,
I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness.
I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He diedfor my sin and that you raised Him to life.
I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord,from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will.
I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen."
