PRAYER OF ILLUMINATION
“Lord, open our hearts and minds. O living breath of God, awaken us this day. O living breath of God, awaken us this day. Open the windows of our souls. Open the walls of our minds. Open the doors of our hearts. Awaken us to hope. Awaken us to joy. Awaken us to revival. Let us be the spark here and now that you light on fire. In Jesus Name.” Amen!

Intro: This parable about Judah’s destruction by fire can also be a positive call, and reminder. God wants to kindle fires in the life of the church, and see her experience revival. That revival always starts with a spark.
What we need today is for there to be a continual ______________ of ________________ in the church.
But what is Revival ________________________________________

Revival is: Webster’s: “An act, state, or instance of being revived…. renewed interest of religion”.
In the bible it means: “live, rebuild, restore.”
Arkansas Conference: “The word “revival” itself means new life. To be spiritually revived means to be given new life by the Holy Spirit. And when the Spirit gives life, it is always for some good purpose. Spiritual revival is a gift from the Holy Spirit that begins as individuals prayerfully seek God. Revival binds together individuals into a movement. Revival results in a deeper relationship with Christ as Savior and Lord. Revival compels us to be part of Jesus work in the world.”

The spark of ______________________________ centers around one word- __________________.
1. The Spark of Obedience calls for _____________ of _________________. (Romans 3:23 & Romans 6)
What is sin?______________________________.
What is Repentance ____________________?
2. The Spark of Obedience calls for __________ with the _______________. (Acts 4:31) (2 Corinthians 4:16)
3. The Spark of Obedience calls for _____________ of _________________. (Acts 2:1)
God’s word still rings true! He says “I will kindle a Fire in You”, but it takes a spark. Are you that spark? Would you be that spark? Leviticus 6:8-13 has an answer to how we can keep the spiritual fire going. Read it today, and reflect. Will you take time right now to pray to be that spark? Perhaps a few minutes praying at the altar?
