Genesis - And it was good, very good

In the creation story of Genesis, the words “it was good.” appear seven times. Today, however, we see brokenness, damage, disaster and death; we can confuse the God who is good with the condition of creation today. We need to remember that things today are not as they were. Also, we need to remind ourselves that things will one day be, not as they are. As followers of Jesus Christ we have a bright and glorious future ahead. This Sunday we will look back in time through the rearview mirror of Scripture and see a time when God said, “It was good.”
