Raising Kingdom-Minded Children in a Broken World - 30-Day DevotionalSample

Day 14 – Weekly Prayer: Lord, Make Me a Faithful Discipler
Scripture: “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6 (NKJV)
Reflection
As we close this second week, let’s step back and remember what discipleship really means. It is not about having everything perfect, but about walking with our children daily and pointing them to Jesus. God has called us as parents to be the first disciplers, and He promises to give us the grace to do it well.
The small moments matter. Reading a verse, praying a quick prayer, sharing a story, or speaking words of life may seem simple, but God can use them to shape our children’s hearts for eternity. Today, we dedicate ourselves again to this calling.
Biblical Affirmation for Your Children
“My family is being discipled in Christ, and my children are growing in faith each day.”
Prayer
Lord, thank You for the privilege of discipling my children. Give me wisdom, patience, and consistency. Help me to see the small moments as opportunities to point them to You. May I be faithful in this calling, and may my children grow to love and follow You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Action Step for Parents
Pray a prayer of dedication today. Commit yourself once again to discipling your children and ask God for fresh strength for the journey.
