Raising Kingdom-Minded Children in a Broken World - 30-Day DevotionalSample

Day 12 – Using Daily Routines to Teach Faith
Scripture: “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” – 1 Corinthians 10:31 (NIV)
Reflection
Faith is not limited to big spiritual moments. It is often caught in the small routines of daily life. Mealtimes, car rides, bedtime, and even chores are opportunities to point our children to God. When we invite Him into the ordinary, we show our kids that God is part of every part of life.
These little rhythms can become powerful habits of faith. Praying before a meal, saying a short verse before bed, or thanking God for the day while in the car can all become part of your family’s rhythm. Over time, these moments shape your children’s view of God as close and involved.
Biblical Affirmation for Your Children
“My children will see God in the small and ordinary parts of life.”
Prayer
Lord, thank You for the everyday moments You give us. Teach me to use routines to remind my children of Your love and presence. May our daily habits become opportunities to glorify You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Action Step for Parents
Pick one routine in your home today and add a small faith moment to it, like a short prayer or a scripture reminder.
