The Work Of Salvation
The Holy Spirit plays a huge role in helping people come to Jesus—even before they decide to follow Him. It can feel like a drawing to the things of God. Sometimes people have questions in their heart that cause them to want to know more about God. This is God showing you that He wants a genuine relationship with us and revealing to us that He is real, loving and interested in what is important to you. It’s like the Holy Spirit shines a bright light on our hearts, showing us the things we've done wrong and helping us realise how far we are from God’s perfect standard.
This can feel uncomfortable, but it’s actually a good thing—it helps us see that we need forgiveness, and His conviction is what makes many people start looking for God and understand just how much they need His love, grace, and mercy.
At the moment a person decides to follow Jesus, the Holy Spirit starts living inside of us, and helps us to have a personal relationship with God.

About this Plan
The Holy Spirit is the third Person in the Trinity and has an active role in the life of a believer. This week we will look at who He is, the role He plays in our life and how with Him we are empowered to live for Jesus.
