God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 1 )Sample

Ephesians: Week 1 – Day 2
The Bible tells us salvation comes by grace through faith—a simple but profound statement. If we are saved by grace through faith, we can do nothing to earn our way to Heaven. Many religious groups have tried to add to this. They insist that works can save. This simply isn’t true.
None of us were saved because of our holiness, good works, or acts of service. Salvation is a gift from God. It is only by His grace that we can place our faith in Him and be saved.
God did not save you because He thought you were a morally upstanding person or knew you would serve tirelessly in your church. God saved you because He loves you and desires a relationship with you. In His mercy, He sent Jesus to pay the price for your sin.
